I've decide to leave the whole wordpress hosting thing for a while as i just don't think that I'm going to have the time to devote to run a blog fully currently.

Hopefully i can keep up here on blogger and then some how port it all over to my blog as and when i get it sorted.

I even had an email from shiva head shop who when we where down in London we took some pictures of their shop and they've seen my kids blog with the pictures on so have asked for a copy.

Busy Again

Well it looks like i won't be getting my hosting setup, unless my friend gets back to me tonight about it and then it also depends on how late i feel like staying up to sort it as i know that once i get on with it that i won't be able to put it down until it looks half decent. so i could be up till the early hours.

Hopefully on Monday I'll have a defined answer on what I'm donig blog wise

Hosting could be complicated

Well i spent around 2 hours looking at wordpress hosting over the weekend and it turns out that its bit of a mine field, theres data storage file transfer, i'll have to speak to my friend who knows a bit more about this stuff and see what he recommends. I've got bit of a list down Heart Internet, 34SP.com and UK2.net

Hopfully he'll be able to get back to me this week so that i can get it ordered for next weekend.

Spare Time

Although spare time of any sort is currently pretty rare, i would like to get my own blog sorted which means i need to look in to wordpress hosting which no doubt isn't going to be a quick 10 minute job my any means.

I really like using blogger because its free and i have no need to update it all the time, if i get a wordpress blog then it's going to cost me for hosting which i'd probably pay for anually, but then i'm going to have to blog often and monetise to make it worth my time been spent on it. I had a text from a friend the otehr night saying that everyone uses wordpress now over a old traditional html website and website hosting.

So i'm going to try and get 1hr at the weekend when i can look deeper into blogging

works really busty at this time of year, which also means more work for me. I've been watching the new David Jason comedy "The Royal Body Guard" on the iPlayer, i thought the start of the first episode was a bit over dramtic but over half way through its pretty comical and definetly worth watching. David jason plays a pretty good role and im hoping he keeps it up for the series.

I'm glad that Christmas and the new year are over though and that everyone is starting to get into some normal routine. The hotel that we stayed in must be part of a group or something as they sent me an email offering money off kings cross hotels. It seemed like a good deal so I'm heading back down for the summer months not sure when probably the first week in august and have a nice long weekend. I might have a look for london bed and breakfast hotels in other areas and see if i can get a cheap price.

I'm back to work on Monday after taking an extended Xmas break, I'll be glad to be back as its been a little boring at home

London for the Weekend

Well I've only been to London Twice now and i still haven't been everywhere that's touristy. The hotel was really nice and we even took a trip to Greenwich, there was a really interesting shop Shiva Head Shop it had a tattooists next to it but it sold lads of funky stuff like vaporizers, Shisha Pipes and Bongs, i took a couple of pictures of this wicked little shop.

Saturday was a good night out although slightly expensive compared to the prices in the North. I got quite a few good pictures. Mainly stuff like tower of London and the London eye

Weekend Away

Well I've finally decided to head down to the big smoke at the weekend, I've left it pretty late but I've managed to get booked in to one of the few kings cross hotels, which means I'm pretty central to everything, I'm getting the train down on Friday afternoon and then back on Sunday afternoon.

Hopefully I'll get out Friday night with a few mates i have down there. Saturday I'll do some sight seeing and just have a potter around with my mates. I must remember to take my camera down with me, I'm sure I'll get some good pictures whilst I'm down there.

It took me a while to find a bed and breakfast london as there are so many out there on Google you end up trawling through loads of websites and before you know it you've lost 2 hours of your life.

Bike riding

I managed to get a short ride in last week of around 20 miles and it was mainly road riding which was a change but it was a good mix of up and down hill. The ride was to a local village which is about 10 miles away. i got there in about 40 minutes which i didnt think was bad at all since i thought it would take me at least 1 hr and then i set a target of 45 minutes. On the way back i hit that extra 5 minute bracket just before a big hill. coming back i was around the same time. but it seemed a lot quicker as theres more down hill stretches on the way back.

Theres a nice little fashion boutique at the village which must make a nice rack of sales due to busy summer months, there was a great window display with varying makes from Scoot to Firetrap with some great t shirt designs in. I'll have to nip over this weekend in the car and take a better look inside.

I'm yet to do any night riding, but i really want to get some half decent lights either Hop or Lupine ones

This week has flown by, seriusly i cant beleieve how quickly friday has come round. Hopefully i'll be able to get out on the bike this weekend which would be good. I'm looking at starting night riding though due to time restrictions with work.

night riding really adds a whole new diemension to riding as trails pass a lot quicker when your riding and your vison is limited.

F1 still 9 days away

well we are still days away from the next F1 race over in belgium at Spa. this 3/4 week break that they have taken seem to have taken ages to pass. Hopefully it will start as a dry race at spa and then chuck it down so that we can have a interesting race, i wouldn't be suprised to see some engine failures soon as Spas going to be pretty hard on engines and then Monza the race after spa, and monza is one of the toughtest races on engines due to the time on full throttle and the altitude making air thinner and the engine working harder.

I've just had a nice big delivery dropped of at home i had a few franklin and marshall t shirts and some firetrap jeans, all in it came to about £200 which i didnt think was to bad.

Riot No More

Well it finally looks like the madness from last week appears to have calmed down and gone away now, well apart from everyone going to court for it. I cant believe how many varied workers where involved from teachers and olyimpicans to young jobless people.

I'm not sure whats going to happen this week but i guess the news will still be full of riot headlines, which i guess will be no suprise for many people.

Some premiership games where cancelled due to the earlier riots but iu cant really understand why when it calmed down towards the end of the week

Copy Cat Rioters

Well after the initial riots in London it now looks like most of the major big UK cities have got copy cat rioters. I wonder if tonight will bring more riots and looting. One thing that i missed last night was the major live coverage and w where dependant on some guy called Mohamed who had to run off when the rozzers came.

When Croydon was on fire we had helicopter coverage which really gave a good aspect of how bad things where.

If theres looting again tonight i wonder if it will cross over the pennines which currently seems to be where the rioting and looting has been below.
