Building

Well my parents are splashing the cash and having a fancy garden room built by Oeco, they say it will take them just under a week to get in from foundations to a finished fit. They are leaving it un painted as my dad wants to paint it, but they are getting extra power points and 2 extra windows put in.

I'm not really sure what they are going to use it for, but I'm sure they'll find some use for it.

I'll pop round in the week so i can see what progress is been made, i think it will be interesting to watch the whole build process from start to finish.

Work Trip To London

Well I've got a work training day and its down in London, they are putting me up in a St Pancras hotel for the night as well just so i don't have to travel back late and then go to work tired, hopefully staying over the night means i will be back for lunch.

I gave my boss the details of the Jesmond Dene Hotel where i stayed when i was down in the big smoke a few months back

I need to travel down early morning but as least i don't have to worry about it been a long day :)

Hopefully the weather will stay nice and allow me to have a nice beer garden lunch. I love going down to London as its a nice change of scenery to the up here.

Online Dating

Well i was at work the other day and i was talking to one of the younger lads there and he was telling me how he's signed up on a online dating website. i thought it was quite brave of him to say and if I'd signed up I'd be keeping to my self. his reasoning was that its hard when your out as your there for a laugh and a few beers not to find women haha.
I've not told anyone else at work mainly because it isn't their business, but also he's one of the few that i get on with so without him to talk to work would be a nightmare. hopefully he'll find someone that he can date, if he can't then we'll have to get him a picture from google to put as his profile pic

Whats What

I've decide to leave the whole wordpress hosting thing for a while as i just don't think that I'm going to have the time to devote to run a blog fully currently.

Hopefully i can keep up here on blogger and then some how port it all over to my blog as and when i get it sorted.

I even had an email from shiva head shop who when we where down in London we took some pictures of their shop and they've seen my kids blog with the pictures on so have asked for a copy.

Busy Again

Well it looks like i won't be getting my hosting setup, unless my friend gets back to me tonight about it and then it also depends on how late i feel like staying up to sort it as i know that once i get on with it that i won't be able to put it down until it looks half decent. so i could be up till the early hours.

Hopefully on Monday I'll have a defined answer on what I'm donig blog wise

Hosting could be complicated

Well i spent around 2 hours looking at wordpress hosting over the weekend and it turns out that its bit of a mine field, theres data storage file transfer, i'll have to speak to my friend who knows a bit more about this stuff and see what he recommends. I've got bit of a list down Heart Internet, 34SP.com and UK2.net

Hopfully he'll be able to get back to me this week so that i can get it ordered for next weekend.

Spare Time

Although spare time of any sort is currently pretty rare, i would like to get my own blog sorted which means i need to look in to wordpress hosting which no doubt isn't going to be a quick 10 minute job my any means.

I really like using blogger because its free and i have no need to update it all the time, if i get a wordpress blog then it's going to cost me for hosting which i'd probably pay for anually, but then i'm going to have to blog often and monetise to make it worth my time been spent on it. I had a text from a friend the otehr night saying that everyone uses wordpress now over a old traditional html website and website hosting.

So i'm going to try and get 1hr at the weekend when i can look deeper into blogging
